Relax, rejuvenate, restore and renew! Nestled on Donnell Pond in Franklin, Maine, our lakeside cottage offers privacy, peace of mind and serenity. Just the place if you are looking for a true get-a-way to spend time with family and friends. Also great for group retreats and family reunions!
Inside amenities: Microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, pool table, wet bar, color TV in most rooms, DVD/VCR/stereo/dish satellite, wood for fireplaces, linens, towels and sheets.
Outside amenities: Gas grill, patio furniture, outdoor fireplace, two kayaks, two canoes, row boat, life jackets, docks/swimming area and a 16' Motorboat rental is available.
Donnell Pond is 3 1/2 miles long with over 1100 acres of water full of trout, perch, salmon and bass. You will also find remote sand beaches and hiking trails nearby on Schoodic Mountain. Enjoy the serentiy while listening to the loons and spotting an ealge or two!
We now offer our "Guest Cottage" to renters of Lakeside Cottage for an additional fee. This is a great opportunity for you to bring along friends or family to enjoy your stay at the lake. See information below.

Our "Guest Cottage" is available to rent if you are renting our main cottage. It is a great opportunity for you to bring along friends or family that you don't have room for in the main house or that you would feel more comfortable vacationing with if they had their own roof to be under at night!
This cottage is newly finished with a gas fireplace, spiral staircase, brand new kitchen, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and washer/dryer. The first floor is an open area and the upstairs has two bedrooms both with queen beds and a full bathroom.
You'll fall in love with the guest cottage, which will add to the fun of being at the cottage with extra guests!
We do require that adults must accompany any minors that stay in the "Guest Cottage". Rates subject to change without notice. |
